  While visiting family in San Jacinto we were told to visit Delgado's. What a super cool choice!
  
  We ordered the chimichanga and it came with beans and rice. The dish was amazing and the chips and salsa were good as well.
  Only issue was the salsa was mild...mild, gimme the hot stuff please! Now that made it a five star!
  
  Mom had the menudo...said it was the best she has had in a long time!
  
  Only had ice water today...

  Chilaquiles, for this dish to be exceptional, one must have an exceptional sauce otherwise is just chips and salsa. This should really be garnished with queso fresco not American shredded cheese.
  
  The service was good but the food failed in taste and in actual Mexican flavor. Even the beans tasted like canned beans.

  Everytime I'm in the San Jacinto area, I like to stop in at Delgados for lunch.   Delgados is a cafe style Mexican restaurant serving Authentic Mexican dishes and Mexican/American style dishes.  I have had many of the items on the menu, all of my choices have been delicious.  The food is always hot and fresh.  My favorite plate is the beef enchilada with a chicken flauta, rice and beans. Service is fast and very friendly. Most of all this place is very affordable, prices are great for the portions given.  This restaurant is clean and has clean restrooms.  I always recommend this place to any one in the area.

  Went there for dinner today & I mistakenly ordered the wrong fish plate (I know, my fault) I didn't realize it until the plate was brought to my table. Once I realized it I told the server, which seems to be the owner, that I made a mistake & thought my order was something different & before I can even go on she loudly says "NOO but that's not something you can do, that's fish & you have to pay for that you ordered it." So I continue to say that it's not what I thought it was & that I made a mistake. She then tells me I can't trade it for nothing because it's fish & it's expensive ($15) plate so that I have to pay for it & asks me what else I want to order. So I say I don't want to order anything & I'm not even going to touch the plate so why am I going to pay for it so she tells me to take it home even though I'm not going to eat it. Never have I had this experience in any restaurant. A few minutes later she seemed to feel some type of way & came back to offer me 2 tacos free of charge, of course I accepted them but the point is the whole thing was ridiculous, literally stood there & argued with me & I didn't even approach her in a rude way or came at her, never again. By the way the tacos were wack too, no salsa besides the chip salsa & the tortillas were old.

  My family and I have frequented Delgado's for some years now. Today we had the luxury of taking more family.  The staff owners and bus boy are extremely welcoming . Extremely friendly . The attention to you is so polite and attentive. Chips are warm salsa good . We ask for the hotter one it's delicious if you like a little heat. Menudo spectacular. Bacon crispy and beans have so much flavor.
  I wish I had pictures of food to share but we were just overjoyed to begin the meal. Prices are very reasonable . Don't let the strip mall distract you from actually going in.
